AREAS OF PRACTICE
Katie Johnson
Katie’s primary areas of practice include tax law, estate planning, business, and corporate law.
Katie earned her J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law, where she received scholarships and awards for academic excellence and her successes at a national level captaining one of Gonzaga’s moot court teams. After earning her J.D., Katie received her Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, IL, focusing on the areas of corporate and international tax. This led her to Brussels, Belgium to compete in KU Leuven’s International European Tax Moot Court Competition, where she placed third in oral arguments among teams from around the world. After her schooling, Katie began her career in Boise, Idaho, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, complex tax planning, and tax controversy.
Settling down in Leavenworth, Washington with her husband feels like her great return to the PNW in which she grew up and loves so much. She enjoys being able to use her advanced tax degree to support the strategic, innovative, and generous goals of her clients and fellow community members who make this amazing region what it is.
